Hi Megan! We read all the bios and can totally relate to the ferret math, although not to the extent you have :) at least not yet, we only have four for now. After reading the bios I had to take the credit cards away from my husband. He has been saying for a while "you sure you don't want another?" maybe some day because they are the most amazing creatures :) Also if anyone is interested, we have wonderful vets who are husband & wife here in southern Nevada. Who know ferrets extensively, I don't know what we would have done without them. I have paged him at 11pm & he called me back within minutes. Just a little info. have a great one :)

I thought your web page was very interesting. I have to do an essay for my English 111 class, and I am going to do one on my ferret "Buddy". Your stories will help me put together my first draft for my class. I have been out of school for 19 years, and I have completely forgotten how to do essays. My first draft is a Narrative essay, and my teacher said that we can tell a story about our pets. Reading your essays will help me get started with mine.

Help me! I just moved here to Northern Ireland from Florida. I want to get a ferret here but I don't know how or where to go. It seems like most of the ferrets here are used for hunting but me and my family want a nice one for a pet. I also don't know if you can get ferrets descented here in the UK (that is the only way my mom would take a ferret). If anyone has any information or can help me than I would greatly appreciate it. I just got my first ferret about a month ago. He's a lot of fun, but
I'm having a hard time in the potty training department. He'll use the box
in his condo because he knows he'll be let out. Once out, he "goes" where
he wants. Just last week I got my second. He's adorable, but not well
liked by the oldest. I'm doing my best to introduce them slowly, but the
older of the two bites and drags the baby around by his HEAD!! I sure
could use some helpful hints.
